Jared Ardern

Jared is a provisional psychologist with over 10 years of experience in counselling and specializes in relationship counselling. He helps create a space where clients are heard and validated. Jared helps couples communicate and deal with conflict effectively, including assisting them to identify and address root causes of conflict rather than going round in circles of blame. He also helps couples establish new patterns of showing love and respect for each other and teaches them the skills needed to have a satisfying and long lasting relationship.

Brendan Elliott

Psychologist, BPsycSc, GDipPsyc

Brendan comes from a forensic and community background with experience in anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, and domestic violence. He has a strong background in working with clients at risk of suicidal and self-harming behaviour and takes a compassionate approach to helping clients overcome this. He works with clients 13+years and over. Brendan takes a holistic and personalized approach to each client, utilizing a variety of therapies to assist them to reach their goals (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). He has over 12 years past experience working in the building trade, and understands the stressors that come from that field of work and working away from home. He always takes an evidence based approach and is not afraid to look outside the box to find what works best for the client.

Emily Schiaffi

Psychologist, B Psych (Honours)

Emily has extensive experience working in child protection, domestic violence and providing training in positive behaviour management strategies. She has a particular interest in assisting children and adults find healing from trauma and move forward after experiencing grief and loss, in addition to management of depression and anxiety disorders. She employs a warm and compassionate manner and works from a strengths-based, collaborative approach incorporating various therapeutic approaches (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy) to meet the individual needs of each person.

Eallany Jahjah

Eallany is a psychologist who provides a compassionate and solution-focused environment for individuals to talk about their concerns and wellbeing. Eallany holds a special interest in working with anxiety, depression, anger management, addiction and relationship issues, and has a passion for family and couple’s therapy. She is also interested in maximizing workplace performance and has a bachelor’s degree in business. Her background includes working with clients across the lifespan, particularly with children who have special needs. She uses a range of evidence-based practice including cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, compassion focused therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy.

Shanna Rose

Shanna is a provisional psychologist who is dedicated to helping individuals and families improve their mental health and well-being to achieve their best self. She uses a person-centred and strengths-based approach with evidence-based strategies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). As Shanna creates behaviour support plans for clients, she strives to have a collaborative approach where an individual has the best support network to achieve their goals. Shanna is a mum of two young girls and through her experiences she has developed a passion in helping mothers from pregnancy and beyond.

Mike Gibson

Mike is a compassionate, driven and dedicated behaviour support practitioner who has devoted his life to the protection and happiness of children, teenagers and adults, by supporting, guiding and teaching individuals, families and stakeholders to achieve their goals. He has significant long-term experience and passion around child protection, domestic/family violence, addictions, the disability sector, mental health, attachment/trauma frameworks, counselling, and evidence based information all within a person-centred view and practice. He believes strongly in a personal, holistic, collaborative approach to ensure everyone feels heard and cared for along with clear boundaries, communications and empathy. He has a wide variety of interests including dancing, music, horse riding, fishing, travel and chess.
